One of the greatest tragedies in life is man’s indifference to the needs of his fellow man. This does not relate merely to material needs, but more especially, to emotional and spiritual needs.
People are afraid, lonely and insecure; they are bewildered, confused and tempted and they need to know that someone cares enough about them to be prepared to spare the time to offer them comfort, companionship and encouragement, in their battle against life’s odds.
When we ask the Lord to touch us and through His Spirit, give us a clear insight into the needs of others, then the world will become that better place for which we constantly pray.
Galatians 6:2 - Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
Prayer: Lord, compel me to reach out to others.
