Grace That Works

While it is true that we are saved by grace through faith and not of works, the grace and mercy we have received of God need to be worked out in our lives so that through our works and deeds, we testify of the effectiveness of grace.  It is this type of quality of divine grace that impacts the lives of the lost.

Be faithful in your service to God.  You may ask, how can I be faithful in service if I don’t know what it is that I must do?  The Lord often places a burden on us that moves us into action.  Whatever, it is in your Christian life that motivates you or stimulates an interest, in all likelihood, it’s the area where God can use you to make a difference.  So start to plan by making decisions to inspire others of like interest to passionately be involved in the mission.

Ephesians 2:10 - For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Prayer: Lord, You know where my interest lies.  Help me to move in that direction.
