Don't say 'no' when God calls!

The remarkable faith of Joshua was reinforced by God's promise to be with him as he assumed the leadership of Moses.

How could Joshua refuse to heed God’s call to lead Israel into the Promised Land?  Joshua was first a silent inactive spectator of God’s work.  He knew that God was well able to defeat Israel’s enemies, but when the time came for him to move from being a spectator to becoming a competitor, he needed the assurance that as God used Moses, so the Lord would use Him.

As long as you doubt that God can use you, you will remain a passive believer.  Cast off the rags of doubt and clothe yourself with the garment of active faith and service.

Joshua 1:9 - Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.

Prayer: Lord, there is no reason for me to hesitate and doubt Your call for me to launch out to actively serve You.  Make me a doer and not merely a hearer of Your Word.
